PohlCon solutions are certified with the ETA — European Technical Assessment, and its products are sustainable solutions that also hold the EPD — Environmental Product Declaration, important for the environmental classification of your project.
Reinforcement and Connectivity
PohlCon offers a wide range of reinforcement solutions and integrated structural connectivity systems, including punching reinforcement, rebar coupler boxes for connecting structural elements, connectors for expansion joints, and reinforcement in stainless steel or glass fibre.
Glass Fibre Reinforcement – FIBERNOX V-ROD
PohlCon supplies glass fibre reinforced polymer (GRP) rebar with high mechanical strength, resistant to corrosion and alkalis, non-magnetic and electrically and thermally insulating. With only a few centimetres of cover and low weight, this is the solution for modern, sustainable construction.
Punching Reinforcement — JDA
PohlCon punching reinforcement elements are specifically designed to increase the punching shear capacity of flat slabs. Comprising two circular anchors joined by a rod, they allow the rapid and easy addition of resistance around column heads, enabling slimmer slabs. The system is available in numerous configurations, adapting to any type of column or wall and various geometries.
The punching reinforcement is certified under ETA-13/0136 and carries the environmental product declaration EPD-JDL-202200260-IBB1-DE. It is suitable for concrete classes C20/25 to C50/60. Rods are available in diameters from 10 to 25 mm and heights from 125 to 695 mm, with configurations designed specifically for your challenge.

Starter Bar System — FERBOX
PohlCon presents the FERBOX starter bar boxes, a solution for connections between different structural elements whose concreting takes place at different times. The reinforcement and friction created by the metal plate and the joint geometry ensure the transfer of high longitudinal and transverse forces. This solution guarantees the highest category of Interlocked joints and the installation of rebar with code-compliant anchorage lengths and bending radii.
FERBOX units are manufactured from galvanised steel using A500 rebar and are certified under ETA-20/0842. Stainless steel reinforcement is available on request.

Connectors – JDSD and HED
PohlCon's connector system enables the connection between structural elements across an expansion joint, ensuring the transfer of high forces while simultaneously allowing the movements required for the correct functioning of the structure. The connector solutions allow the transfer of high loads, prevent concrete cracking, offer excellent corrosion protection and fire resistance through a purpose-designed device, all within an easy installation process.
ISOPRO – Structural Connectivity & Thermal Insulation
PohlCon thermal insulation elements solve a wide range of thermal challenges by connecting external structural elements to the building. Through the load transfer devices, thermal bridges that affect the behaviour and comfort of the interior space are eliminated. Comprising a concrete compression element and tension reinforcement, these connections allow the transfer of vertical and horizontal forces and are certified under ETA-17/0466.

Anchor Channels — JTA
PohlCon offers a wide range of anchor channel solutions for fixing structures attached to the main building structure. Embedded in concrete, they guarantee the transfer of high loads. These channels allow a system of special bolts to be installed with complete freedom, ensuring flexibility for any type of installation — from facades to specialist services and equipment.
